One playhome will be auctioned off on E-Bay beginning Thursday, March 13.  Every five minutes in North Carolina, a child is abused.  This is a staggering statistic, and we are proud to say that the HBADOC is doing its part to help.  For the past 16 years, we have been raising funds to support child abuse prevention programs in our area.

Proceeds from the 2008 Parade of Playhomes fundraiser will be distributed to The Exchange Family Center of Durham, The Exchange Family Center of Orange, and the Chatham County Partnership for Children.  The funds will be used to help educate parents on parenting techniques and will also allow one-on-one counseling with families in need of these services.

For more information, please call 919-493-8899.

***Playhomes will be delivered compliments of the HBA and Builders FirstSource within a 20 mile radius of Northgate Mall. Any location farther than that will require a fee that will be negotiated with Builders FirstSource.
